Miss South East Asia Tourism Ambassadress 2015



Thailand's Yada Theppanom, 23, has been crowned Miss South East Asia Tourism Ambassadress 2015 last October 2 beating 16 other contestants from nine countries.

Philippine's Alexandra Mae Rosales was named the first runner-up, while Indonesia's Falentina Cotton was the second runner-up.

All winners walked away with a crown, cash and prizes, trophy and professional make-up course.

Malaysia's Joey Ong Ai Ee, 25, won the Miss Friendship title.



Among other awards presented to the participants were Best in Social Media, Best National Dress, Best in Talent and Miss Elegant.

The event showcased the unique and rich ties that ASEAN nations share, not just in terms of trades, but also in culture, friendship, tourism and goodwill.

The participating countries are Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Laos’ participation is its first since the pageant commenced 23 years ago.
