The representative of USA, Brenda (Jannette) Gonzalez, won Miss Model Universe 2016 and the representative of Mexico, David Maytorena , won the overall title of Mister Model Universe 2016 held in Chihuahua, Mexico.
For Miss Model Universe, the total candidates were five: Brazil (Raphaela Lima); Mexico; Puerto Rico (Mayliane Rivera Torrez); Riviera Maya (Daniela Lopez) and USA (Jannette Gonzalez)
For Mister Model Universe, the total candidates were three (3): Argentina, Mexico and USA
This was the second edition of this combined pageants.
