Special awards were already given at the 65th Miss Universe 2016 pageant.
Miss Venezuela Mariam Habach won the "Flawless of the Universe" special award. The award came with a cash prize of $1,000 (P50,000). The Flawless of the Universe announcement was attended by 12 candidates, including Argentina, Bahamas, Czech Republic, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Namibia, Romania, Singapore and Slovak Republic.
At the Davao Fashion Show, Miss Philippines Maxine Medina won "Hiyas ng Phoenix". Indonesia's Kezia Warouw was awarded Miss Phoenix Smile while Miss Venezuela bagged another award which is Miss Phoenix.
Congratulations to the three ladies!!!
