Big & Major Pageants Cancelled for Year 2020

Due to COVID pandemic, two major pageants are cancelled.

Last month, it was announced that the 70th edition of Miss World will be held in the latter part of 2021 and host country will be confirmed soon.

Prior to that, Miss International also cancelled this year's 60th edition which was originally scheduled on October 29.

With the cancellation of the 2020 Miss International pageant, 2019 winner Sireethorn Leearamwat will become the longest-reigning titleholder in history. She is the first Thai woman to win the crown.

Meanwhile, Miss Earth is reportedly to hold its first ever virtual pageant this year after a successful 2020 Miss Earth Philippines virtual pageant which was held last July 5. Miss Earth will celebrate its 20th edition.

Miss Universe on the other hand has not yet schedule its pageant for this year and there are no report of pageant cancellation.
