After 2021 pageants, fifty-two crowns/titles (for Miss & Teen categories only) were included in our tally and last year's top-notchers are still occupying the high ranks.
Sitting 5th & 6th places are Venezuela and Panama who grabbed 3 crowns each. What separates their ranking is the number of 1st runner-up finish they've got. Venezuela has two while Panama has one. Venezuela won Miss Mesoamerica International, Miss Latin America of the World and Miss Teen Tourism while Panama won Miss Teen Grand Universo, Miss Teen Américas and Miss Teenager.
United States (U.S.A.) now occupies the 4th position in our tally. From last year's (2020) 3rd position, this powerhouse country snatched four (4) crowns in 2021 which includes Miss Teen Petite International, Miss Cinderella of the World (Woman), Miss Teen Petite Universe International and Miss Grand International 2020 won by Abena Appiah.
Mexico who competed in 45 pageants in 2021 (record for 2021), also clinched four crowns - Miss Elite, Miss Teen Grand Sea World, Reina Hispanicoamericana and one of the Big 5 pageants - the 69th Miss Universe 2020 won by Andrea Meza.
Peru's outstanding pageant achievements in 2021 set them in second position of our ranking. Winning five titles which includes Top Model of the World, Miss Teen Mesoamerica International, Miss Teen Mundial, Miss Hopeland World and Miss Latinoamérica Internacional, Peru is hoping and is ready to win the big pageants this 2022.
Who would have thought that the last quarter of 2021, the Philippines will clinched 5 crowns. In just a span of 3 months, this pageant powerhouse country won Miss Aura International, Miss Culture International, Miss Interglobal, Miss Intercontinental and The Miss Globe.
Actually, it could have been 7 crowns for the Philippines, its just that in Miss Cinderella of the World (Teen), there were two representatives from this country, the "Philippines" and "Northern Philippines". It so happened that Northern Philippines emerged as the winner and so with Queen of International Tourism which was won by "Philippines-USA".
